The Beebe Community Wind Farm near Ithaca will be the first U.S. project to utilize the 2.4 MW Nordex N117/2400 Gamma Generation wind turbines on 91 meter towers.  The 81.6 MW wind farm will sell it output pursuant to a power purchase agreement with Consumers Energy.  Work on the project will start in May and be completed in September.  Manufacture of the turbines will take place in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  Exelon Wind and Nordex are jointly developing the project.
