Experience
Rich focuses his practice on litigation of complex commercial matters in state and federal courts. Rich also has experience in probate litigation including will contests and guardianship/conservatorship matters as well as disputes involving trust agreements. He has litigated disputes among suppliers and manufacturers in the automotive industry in both state and federal court.
Rich also leads Varnum's E-Discovery Task Force, where he advises clients on matters relating to the preservation and production of electronically stored information as well as best practices for companies in retaining data. He has handled all forms of alternative dispute resolution including facilitative mediation, arbitration, and case evaluation under the Michigan Court Rules.
